Roles

We recently decided on our roles which are as follows:

Director: Brock Neal-Roberts

Producer: Dillan Dattani

Camera: Chris Kenward 

Sound Recordist: James Dolan

Editor: Matt Browne 

Sound Editor: Matt Brunton

I chose to undertake the role of camera because I wanted a less stressful task after the Liverpool documentary which was riddled with problems from the beginning. I feel I learned a lot about directing from the documentary project and would like to further develop my camera skills on a creative task.

Our latest project is to create a five minute drama film; a task which I am greatly looking forward to as I am relatively inexperienced in this genre and am viewing this as a chance to further develop my film making skills. We will be expanding on the brief 'journey' which I am excited about as I feel this task gives us far more creative freedom than our previous projects. 

I feel this project will present a few difficulties that may provide the group with various challenges to overcome. For example casting our actor/actress may be a difficult process. On top of this our film will require a much more in depth level of planning than the documentary and as such we will have to meet regularly to plan and storyboard.

Over all I am excited to begin working on this project and feel that if we work well as a team we can produce a successful piece of work that we can all be proud of.
