We are very happy with the way in which the film was received when we presented it yesterday. I feel that all the hard work the group has put into the project has paid off and the film is a brilliant note to end the year on. We have taken on board the criticism that Sammy's mum and foster mum don't sound connected to the film and it is worth re-recording their voices. It also became clear that we should have done more with the scene in which Sammy meets her real mum as the voice-over slightly detracts from the pivotal moment. Overall I am extremely pleased with the way in which the film has turned out and really enjoyed working with this group.
